Dave Cowen, Author

Cowen has written for The New Yorker and McSweeney’s. He’s authored nine books including two that were featured in The New York Times. He produces two Substacks, Shuffle Synchronicities, a spirited mix of music & memoir, and Seriocomics, which enthuses about partly serious partly comic works of graphic literature; the former was top 25 in its category and mentioned on NPR. He’s a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.

Gabriel Wexler, Illustrator

Contracted and collaborated with over four years of the ten year project, Wexler has made storyboards for film and TV, drawn for newspapers and magazines, taught art at schools, and co-authored and illustrated a book for young adults. He graduated from Parsons.
